Shipping & Return Policy

BREXET UPDATE: 

We have seen that some of our EU Customers have been receiving unexpected bills for VAT and customs declarations based on their location for their Daftboy.uk order. Unfortunately we have no control over any additional VAT or Custom Charges that your Country may apply to goods being shipped from our warehouse located in the UK, and can not take any responsibility for any of these additional taxes.

What are Shipping Times / Cut Offs?

We always strive to get your shipment out and processed ASAP! However, with the onset of our new safety measures packages may take 2-3 full business days to be processed before shipping. Our warehouses are closed on weekends and all Major holidays and this will add at least 1-3 business days to any quoted shipping times.  

We do offer sugested shipping times during the checkout process, however, shipping times may take longer than expected depending on the shipping carrier, and world events that are out of our control. 

We cannot be held reliable for any Delays from any of our shipping carriers.

Additionally we can only help with packages for 15 days after they have been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier. Please contact us immediately if your package shows as delivered but you have not received your package. As we will be unable to help shipment issues after this 15 day cut off.

How much is shipping?

Our shipping costs are varied based on weight and destination. 

If you would like to ship parts of your order to multiple addresses you will need to pay for the extra shipping. E-mail us at daft@daftboy.uk for details.

International Shipping ( Outside the UK) 

• International Shipping are varied based on weight and destination, depending upon the type and variety of products that you order and they type of shipping your request!
• All Items ship via International Royal Post and are transferred to your country's post upon arrival at customs. 

• Your local postal service will receive mail from other countries and distribute them. This means that some Countries may delay Royal Mail packages longer than others. (Up To 90 Days) Please check with your local post office about their policies on Packages from the UK. Countries that are members of the Universal Postal Union should arrive in 2-10 weeks. All Other Counties may Take MUCH LONGER to be delivered. Unfortunately we have no control over this and can't be held responsable for any delays or lost international packages via the International Postal Service in specific counties.

• If you are unsure of your local customs or postal policies we highly recommend contacting us for a FedEX quote. 

• We cannot be held reliable for any Custom Delays. 

• On CUSTOM rush orders please add up to 4 additional days for your Country's customs processing. (This means a 2 day Express Rush shipping can really take up to 6 days.) This is out of our control and we hope for the best but please plan for the worst.

 You will receive a shipping notification as soon as your order ships. 

Wrong/ Incorrect Address?

It can happen that an incorrect / wrong address is entered during the check out process. Wether it from a 3rd party payment app such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa Fast Pass, ECT… Or due to customer error we will always try to help make this right. However we are unable to take any liability or responsibility for packages / orders shipped to an incorrect address due to these type of errors. 

If you discover that your order confirmation has an in correct or wrong shipping address please contact us immediately at daft@daftboy.uk 

Please provide you Order Number as well as the correct shipping address , with a brief description of what happened.

If we are able to we will try and change your shipping address before your order/package is shipped. 

If your order has shipped before we have a chance to update the address we will need to wait until the order/package is retuned before we can offer further solutions.

For Domestic orders/packages within the UK: We can offer a single reshipment for free once we receive the return of an order/package due to an incorrect address. 

For International orders/packages outside the UK: Once we receive the return of an order/package due to an incorrect address we will contact the email we have on file for the order with the following options:

1.) Reshipment of the package at the curent shipping price.

2.) Process a return of order minus any shipping fees and a 15% restocking fees. (See more or international returns below.) 

We are unable to offer replacement products for any order due to an incorrect / wrong address.

Missed Deliveries / Return to Sender

Sometimes a Carrier can try to deliver when you're not home! And this can add delay's to you receiving your shipment. 

Initially, we would ask that you verify that the following information is correct to see if this could have contributed to this:

  • Verify the shipping address Via Your Account. (Please make sure your street and any apt / unit number are correct.) 
  • Look for a notice of attempted delivery. (This often has more information than we have by just looking at your tracking.) 
We really only have the same information provided to us and passed on to you via the carrier and cannot redirect or alter shipments after leaving our hands.
We strongly suggest that you try to contact the carrier yourself to see if you're able to make arrangements to see if you can either rearrange the delivery or pick up the package yourself. I know it's a bit more work, but this could potentially save everyone time in the long run.
If you're unable to make arrangements with the carrier, we would need to wait until this package is returned to us before we could either reattempt the shipment or offer a refund.  For international customers (outside of the UK), this can take up to 2-3 weeks as most carriers aren't quick about returning international goods.

Once we receive the return of an order/package due to a Missed Delivery / Return to Sender, we will contact the email we have on file for the order with the following options:

1.) Reshipment of the package.* (*This may include additional shipping charges for international orders.)

2.) Or process a return of order minus any shipping fees and applicable restocking fees. (See our return policy below.)

For International orders/packages outside the UK: Once we receive the return of an order/package we will process a return of order minus any shipping fees and a 15% restocking fees. (See more or international returns below.) 

We are unable to offer replacement products for any order due to an Missed Delivery / Return to Sender.

Customs:

In rare circumstances, our shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and sundry fees leveled by your country. You are responsible for covering these costs. Sorry! If your country tends to apply such charges to items shipped from the UK or from one of our Manufacturing Partners in various countries, there is a good chance your fans may be nabbed by customs for extra fees. We print all the correct pricing and tax information on the exterior of our shipments but are unable to control the arbitrary whims of customs agents worldwide. We make goods, you placate the taxman, and then we'll crush the shackles of artificial borders together, with LOVE!

Exchanges:

We don’t offer exchanges right now. You can return your item to us for a refund, and then place a new order to get the item of your choice.

Return Policy:

We want you to be happy with your Daftboy.uk purchase! We are dedicated to providing you with the best quality and customer support from the time of purchase to the time that you receive your order!

We will work together with you on any issues or concerns that you may have with your order. There are some items that we simply cannot refund or exchange as they are outside of our policy and you can find those below.

We will not process returns, cancellations, refunds, or exchanges for the following: 

  • Custom Products - Meaning any user-created product that cannot be restocked that does not contain a factory fault. (Have a fault see below.)
  • Face Masks - Due to the nature of these products and the recent arrival of Covid-19 we will not accept the return of any face masks. This is both for the safety of our staff and the safety of our customers.
  • Products Not Purchased on Daftboy.uk - This Includes products purchase at a Daftboy Partner's Shop. Please contact them directly to handle returns.

  • For UK Residents:

    Please email at daft@daftboy.uk us for a prepaid return label.

    Items returned outside or return windows with no email contact will not be reimbursed

    We advise you to obtain proof of postage when you post your return as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received into our warehouse.

    Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned.

     

    For International Residents please follow the process below for returning your parcel to us.

    • Send us an email to: daft@daftboy.uk  Subject line: Return and your order #
    • Include in the email which item(s) you want to return. If there was a problem please let us know that as well. However, we don't require a reason for returns.
    • Re-pack the item in its original packaging or in a secure, waterproof package with labels and tags still attached.
    • Include the original or copy of your order # Receipt included with your order so that we can easily process your return.

    Items returned outside or return windows with no initial email contact will not be reimbursed. 

    We advise you to obtain proof of postage when you post your return as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received into our warehouse.

    For International orders/packages outside the UK:  We do subtract any shipping fees and a 15% restocking fees for all international orders that are returned to us. 

    Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned.

    Refunds / Processing / Restocking Fee

    Refunds will be processed within approximately / up to 14 business days after we receive your return. 

    On receiving your return the next step is for us to check the item(s). Once our checks are complete we’ll refund your credit/debit card for the amount that you paid for that item. It will usually take 3-7 days from the refund for your account to be credited however some payment providers and payment types can take up to 14 days to credit your account.

    To avoid any fraudulent activity we will only issue refunds to the original form of payment used for any order. We are unable to issue refunds in any other way but to the original form of payment, or via a store credit. 

    If you paid for your order with a gift voucher or store credit, this will be credited back to your Daftboy account.

    All returns are quality checked – items should be returned in the original packaging, in a new and unused condition, with labels attached wherever possible.

    For International Orders, (outside the UK.)  We are unable to offer a refund on the shipping cost for any item returned to us no matter the reason and do subtract a 15% restocking fee for any international order that is returned to us. 

     

    Refunds will not be given if they do not comply with our returns policy stated above.

     

    Replacement Policy:

    We want you to be happy with your Daftboy purchase! And we know things can happen. Hence we offer a Replacement Policy on products that were accidentally shipped or arrive faultily. We will work together with you on any issues or concerns that you may have with your order.  

    • One (1) replacement product is allowed per product purchased.
    • Custom Orders Are Exempt From This Policy Unless You Can Provide Proof of Fault!!! 
    • The replacement products will be sent to the address of the original order.
    • [For International orders] Customers will be responsible for shipping costs

    To replace your fan, email: daft@daftboy.uk with the following 3 Required items:

    1.) Visual Proof of any Fault For Example:
    • Photos of the damaged / faulty product
      • Photo(s) of the entire product.
      • Photo(s) demonstrating the fault if the product.
    • Or a Video Demonstrating the Fault. (Preferred for electronic devices.) 
    2.) Order Number
    3.) A brief description of what happened or why the product is faulty.

     

    We will individually access every email and work one on one to deterring the best solution.  We are unable to help with a claim under our replacement policy unless all 3 required items are provided in your email as stated above.
